Melissa has been a musical idol of mine since I first heard her sing Bobby McGhee during a talent show at Medway High School. I was in Gr. 9 at the time, she was in Gr. 11 and she totally blew me away. I grew up singing at Pearson, in choirs, and did 1 year of vocal music at Wilfrid Laurier University during my undergrad. Needless to say, I was so very impressed by her vocal talents then and even more so today. She is a talented vocalist, pianist and guitarist, and can pull off many different genres of music extremely well. This is very difficult to do! Fast forward to now where she has just performed for her 3rd Summer on the Lace Boutique patio. I love seeing Melissa when she pops in to shop. She has welcomed me and Lace Boutique to Lucan with open arms. I can see her wearing this dress during a wedding gig or on the weekend dressed down with her jean jacket.
