Denise has been one of my incredible customers who has welcomed Lace Boutique and me to Lucan with open arms. I love when she pops in to shop and visit. Upon getting to know her I learned that we have something in common. Although our stories are incredibly different, I feel a connection to Denise. We have both lost sons. During one of her early visits she shared with me about her wonderful son, Nicholas, and his passing. I’m so honoured that she shared with me. Nothing compares to losing a child. Although eventually we pick ourselves up and keep going on, I know the behind the scenes piece of that puzzle is never pretty and often comes in waves that vary in size. Denise is brave and so very strong. I’m glad to know her. She wears many different styles so well. She is a hockey mom for her 21 year old son, Eric. I can see her wearing this plaid shacket layered over a black or chocolate brown light sweater at the arena enjoying a game or 2 paired with her Judy Blue jeans and her bright smile.
