Marilyn is a dear friend of my mother's. They were even in each other's wedding parties many years ago. I began my friendship with Marilyn when I moved to Ilderton 12 years ago. She has been shopping with me since the beginning of Lace and has been a wonderful support of me, my family and the business. My grandfather was also an entrepreneur and created Tender Tootsies in the 1940's. He was an incredible vibrant business man whom I have always admired. Marilyn often tells me that he would be proud of me and Lace Boutique. That warms my heart. I love having someone in my life who knew my grandfather that isn't family. Over the years, she has brought many people to the boutique to shop and enjoy events on the patio. Marilyn loves to travel and can often be seen boarding a plane with her sister, Susan. She wears bright patterns well and I can see her wearing this beautiful top over a bamboo tank with a a flowy skirt and sandals.
