Heather has been a friend of mine for many years. I am so glad that we are still in each other's lives. We were desk partners back in Art class at Medway High School and I instantly thought she was wonderful. I always admired Heather and looked up to her. She was so creative and artistically talented, beautiful and so kind. We ended up both studying Visual Art at Western University and would see each other around often. Fast forward to later years, and we both live in Ilderton and our husbands are now friends and play hockey together. The day I went into the hospital to have my youngest son, Clarkson, was they day after Heather and Marc's daughter Winnie was born. They all walked by Jeff while he was calling to tell his mom that Clarkson was here in the hall at the hospital on their way out. Heather has been a wonderful support of me and Lace Boutique. She has introduced her mom to the boutique and brought friends over the years. She has bartended for several Lace Fashion Shows, modelled for a few photos and would help unpack new shipments when I was in Ilderton at Walker Hall after her 2nd daughter Mae was born. I always enjoy when Heather pops in or when I see her around town. My daughter Calleigh is a year older than Winnie and I've enjoyed when they have played on the same hockey team so I can visit with Heather. This top reminds me of her because of the texture on the fabric. Many of Heather's artistic talents are with fabrics and because of its delicate texture I could see her creating something so unique with this piece! I can see her wearing this top to work with a black or chocolate brown pant. I can also see her wearing this more casually with a dark or faded jean and chunky cardi.
